Après la création de TRANS KABAR, Stéphane Hoareau continue ses recherches musicales autour de la culture de l'île de la Réunion avec GRAND SORCIER en la transposant à un quintet de jazz avec les codes traditionnels du Maloya comme les questions - réponses entre les deux saxophones ténor, le désir de liberté du free jazz et la trance incantatoire.
